Math the Band is an American electronic band formed in 2003 in Westford, Massachusetts by Kevin Steinhauser. Justine Mainville was added to the lineup in 2007. They've released many full-length albums and various EPs. The band has been going strong for 9 years, playing well over 500 shows throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom with bands such as Andrew W.K., Wheatus, mc chris, Polysics, Anamanaguchi and Peelander-Z. Math the Band has been featured in several notable magazines such as Venus Zine and Keyboard Magazine. They were also featured on NPR Music.[1][2][3] Now based in Providence, Rhode Island, Math the Band are artists in residence at the non-profit, AS220.
